About me: Greetings from somewhere in Central Texas. I transplanted here about fifteen years ago because Wisconsin winters suck bowling balls through straws. I'm a relic from the summer of '69, I'm a ~~socialist liberal~~ Democrat, and I will always be a blue-stater in my heart.

No one has to agree with everything I post, I acknowledge that. Polite dissent is okay. Snottiness is not. There are plenty of political discussion groups on LJ - go there if you want to argue with somebody, cuz my blood pressure's already high enough, kthnx.

I write fan-fic - most commonly (though not exclusively) M/M RPF. You won't find any of it here on this journal, though. There's a time and a place for everything, and this ain't it. If you're interested in samples of my writing, my House, M.D. fics are posted at the House Fan Fiction archive. The other stuff? Well...I'd have to know you pretty well before I'd let you see them. If you think you qualify, you can find the link fairly easily. ;-)

I should probably also mention my highly developed passive-aggressive streak. It gets me through the day.

Anything else you might want to know about me, you can figure out from looking at my interests, my dislikes, and my bizarrely varied f-list.

Thinking of adding me? Please note: I spam my LJ periodically. I try my best to use friends filters, but chances are that I will clutter your flist at some point.
